Recently i received a letter from the lincoln motor company advising me of a recall regarding my car's airbags. i contacted my local ford dealership, due to no lincoln dealership nearby and was told no parts were available to replace my cars airbag. on june 4, 2018 i received a second notice advising me again of the recall and also no parts are currently available to repair the safety defect. when will the safety defect be repaired on my vehicle? why am i getting notices of the recall but nothing is being done? please advise me when this safety issue will be resolved.

I received a letter in march of 2017 stating that there was an important safety recall regarding the passenger airbag in my car. the letter stated that a ruptured inflator may result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants. i stopped having passengers sit in the front seat of my car, inconvenient but safe. this letter came two years ago!!! i made and documented three calls regarding this issue to no avail. today i again called lincoln cooperate and was transferred to taska lincoln in cranston ri. i waited on the line for 17 minutes but had to hang up because my lunch ended. this is so ridiculous! two years!

I received a safety recall notice from lincoln motor company (17s01) stating the airbag on my vehicle was defective and i would be notified when parts were available. it has been 1 year and no notification. i believe the manufacture has had sufficient time to produce the part and distribute to dealers to correct this deficiency, yet nothing has been done. thus far their has been no accident and it is unknown if the airbag will deploy properly should a collision occur.

I was notified in january of 2017 of a defective airbag. specifically the passenger frontal airbag inflator could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash were the supplemental frontal airbags are designed to deploy. i was told via mailing that once a remedy is set in place instructions on where it is now almost 11 months later and yet the manufactures are still saying no remedy is yet available.
