The inner door handle asy doesn't open from the inside.
Car unintentionally accelerated and crashed brakes failed while attempting to turn in a driveway.
The door handle on the driver side door broke, which would not allow the locking mechanism to work.. unable to lock the car door either manually or by using the remote fob. was able to open & close the door, just could not lock it. this happened while the vehicle was stationary. i understand this same problem exists on the ford fusion. we had the part replaced today at the cost of $113.01.
Door handles (inside) dysfunctional after normal usage. i have replaced both driver and passenger door handles after they both quit opening the doors. now both driver side doors need replaced again. this presents danger in the event of needing to exit the vehicle due to accident or emergency. i can potentially see risk of death of me and or my passengers due to this faulty equipment.
