Problems with 2007 Lincoln MKZ AIR BAGS

I have received letter for recall and letter stating there parts available for this recall. i called the nearest dealer an gave my info and the response was that they have not yet received parts. i attempted again being that i had not heard from them after them stating that they would call when parts came available. it's has been over a year, an in the year i have been in two accidents. i need this issue to be fixed replaced or refunded of the car value. the wait has been way too long causing anxiety with the stress of being severely hurt or even killed. * (recall related incident) ts

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 lincoln mkz. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. the vehicle was taken to lincoln of smithtown (501 middle country rd, saint james, ny 11780) to be repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 17v740000 (air bags). when the contact retrieved the vehicle, the air bag warning indicator was still illuminated. the dealer explained that two seat sensors were damaged and needed replacement. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 41,000.

Passenger airbag not functional

After receiving a letter in the mail regarding my airbag recall, i brought my vehicle into warren ford to have the airbags recall resolved. when i picked up my car there was now an airbag light on, on the dash. prior to having any work done there were no dash lights on. warren ford informed us upon request that there is "nothing they are willing to do." this is an issue because prior to the work being done i had no issues and now there is a light on showing me that there is some type of safety concern now. since the light wasn't on when we originally brought it to the shop for the airbag recall, there must have been some kind of mistake while they were working on the vehicle. the airbag recall really has nothing to do with the issue now, the issue now is that warren ford should be held responsible for not fixing/resolving the airbag light issue that is only on since they completed the airbag replacement. this recall work was completed around december of 2018. warren ford stated it was not a life threatening concern and told us to bring the car back as ...

The heating element in the driver's seat is known to go bad in the 2007 models and i think some 2008 ford models vehicle also. when i push the electric heat seat button it will turn red for a minute but the heating element will not work in the back or in the seat area of the driver's side. other people i know have had the same problem with their ford same here different model and make and have found the solution to be a new wiring harness / connector to replace the factory one apparently one of the wires burnt out from the factory causing it to short. are videos of this on youtube thank you for any and all help. it started by getting extremely hot and turning off really quick on its own and every time after that turning off quicker and quicker until it would not turn back on only show the red light for a brief minute.......... i have enclosed pictures information for the airbags on the passenger side that are suggested to be replaced again any help in resolving these problems would be greatly appreciate it thank you for the time.

Takata recall i took my vehicle to the dealership for airbag recall. when i received my vehicle back, the airbag light was on. they claimed that they did not go near anything that would cause the airbag light to come on and that i would have to pay to have it diagnosed.

Takata recall - at first i was told front passenger seat only should not be used; now latest recall notice says dangerous for driver and passenger because deployment of air bag could cause metal debris to spray occupants. therefore, i cannot drive and i have not been able to get a rental car from dealer. i need assistance because of my doctor appointments.

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 lincoln mkz. while the contact's son was driving at unknown speeds, a lincoln town car crashed into the passenger side quarter panel of the vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the contact's son struck the steering wheel and sustained injuries to the chest, head, and bruises. medical attention was received at the hospital. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. it was undetermined if the vehicle was destroyed. the local dealer was not contacted. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 113,000.

I received a recall notice and took my vehicle to the dealer in visalia as advised and they told me they cannot fix this issue that the parts are discontinued.

2007 lincoln mkz. consumer writes in regards to airbag safety recall. *ld the consumer declined to have the airbag replaced due to the dealer damaging a decorative piece that would leave an open hole in the dashboard. the consumer opted to wait until the dealer located a replacement decorative piece, which had exceeded a reasonable amount of time. the manufacturer was notified. *js

I have received multiple notices about nhtsa recall 16v-384 on vin# (xxxxx) first notice contacted marshall ford service, call never returned. 2 nd notice contacted pegues hurst ford longview, tx. parts were not available. 3rd notice contacted pegues hurst parts dept to see if parts were available. was told i needed to make an appointment and bring the car in so parts could be ordered, 2-3 days. asked about a rental car was put on hold then disconnected. does ford take this recall seriously? parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6)

Takata recall... i have been trying to get my air bags fixed and they keep saying they don't have the parts so i'm driving my car because they haven't fixed it yet nor have me a rental for the time being. i called over 4 months ago.
