I was going north on collier avenue in naples, florida stopped at the intersection with davis avenue at 3 pm with my foot on the brake when there was unintended acceleration. i jammed down hard on the brake and shifted into neutral. the motor reved up hard for a short time, the light turned green, the cars ahead pulled forward, i shifted into drive, took my foot off the brake, and the car and accelerator returned to normal and i proceeded forward. everything returned to normal. i am familiar with unintended acceleration because i experienced it previously in my 1995 (not positive of exact year) audi.
