Two issues: the rear doors retain water after a storm and need to be drained by hand by holding the rubber flap at the bottom of the door away from the door itself. the locks randomly do not fully unlock when you use the key remote, the unlock button on the door, or even manually pulling on the lock knob. the lock knobs jump up and down and you have to try to open the door handle at the perfect time to catch the lock open in order to open the door. this problem seems to rotate through all 4 locks for random intervals and with random selection. it always seems to be on at least 2 locks at any given time. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2009 lincoln mks. after he picked up his vehicle from the dealer, he smelled engine oil burning. he was told that because it was a new vehicle, it was normal. he continued to smell the odor, and then noticed leakage on his garage floor. he looked under the vehicle and saw that there was a fluid leaking onto the exhaust pipe and smoking. he took the vehicle back to the dealership and was told that the dealer did not see anything wrong. he noticed the issue again and took the vehicle back to the dealership where it was confirmed that the transmission fluid was dripping onto the exhaust manifold. at the same time, the rear doors would not open with the remote or the button; it would re-lock before someone could open it. the technician told him that there was a service bulletin for the issue and that they would take care of it. the vehicle was at the dealership at the time of the complaint. the current mileage was approximately 4,200. the failure mileage was approximately 900.
