While driving to work at 50mpg the airbag in the passenger seat deployed. i did not hit anything nor was i hit by anything. the airbag deployed for no reason. this is an issue as now i can not use the vehicle when traveling with my family as it is unsafe for anyone to sit in the passenger seat.

Dt*: the contact stated while driving 45 mph there was a smell of smoke and a pinching sensation emitting from the driver seat cushion area of the seat heater. the contact pulled over and exited the vehicle at which time the seat heater automatically turned off on its own. although the dealer was alerted, the vehicle was not inspected.
