Lexus ls 460 has a problem with the electronic trunk latch. if any material e.g. strap, styrofoam gets into the latch, the trunk cannot be opened electronically,by key or even from the inside of the trunk. thus , by putting something into the latch and than locking the trunk, the trunk cannot be opened. this defeats the emergency inside the trunk release mechanism. someone trapped inside would not be able to get out . *tr
