Rear middle seat belt almost strangled 7year old. the seat belt was looped around child when they were playing while parked in driveway. when ready to get out of car, the child unbuckled and the loop wrap around child tightened. the seat belt was not loosening to allow child to fit through loop, pulling on belt made the belt even tighter and did not unlock. child was having difficulty breathing and i had to cut the belt. request made with lexus dealership to fix malfunctioned belt in december 2017. no response from dealer as of april 2018. continuing to inquire for resolution to to have belt fixed under vehicle warranty. dealer is unresponsive to phone and email for updates.
