Aug 3, 2015 car dial shifter put in park, stopped on my 10% grade driveway. car was on! left to check mail box with door open, noticed car was moving very slow. went back to car tried to reach brake, leg was caught in car and speed picked up evidently in reverse, fell on back, car door rolled over me with legs over head. snapped 5 hamstring tendons, 2 avulsion fractures. i had reported on this site. never heard back. now jeep has a recall on the same type of computerized gear shifter. on consumer affairs there is another rangerover evoque reported going into reverse (before mine did)when in park with running and door open. driver went back to get car and it was up street in reverse against mailbox.
