Tl* the contact owns a 2008 land rover range rover. the contact stated that while driving 55 mph, the vehicle stalled. the system engine fault warning message illuminated after the actual failure occurred. the vehicle was towed to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that a certain component needed to be replaced but the contact was unaware of the exact component. the vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred several months later. the vehicle was towed to the dealer for further diagnosis and repaired however the failure recurred once again. the ecm was then replaced in an effort to correct the recurring failure. the failure recurred and the dealer stated that they were unsure of the cause of the failure or how to remedy the failure. the vehicle was not further repaired. the manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. the vin was unavailable. the failure and current mileage was 32,000.
