At around 12:40pm on july 10th, 2018. my cousin and i were parking the 2015 evoque in a garage driveway. the driveway has a slight down slope and 3 other vehicles in front of me so brakes were being applied to maneuver. as i was coming to a complete stop, the vehicle accelerated hard and quickly. i tried to hold the brake but it seemed it had no effect. the car ended up hitting the end of the garage structure. 911 was called shortly after. on july 12th, the insurance company has already deemed the car a total loss.
