Recently reported SEAT BELTS problems on 2012 Land Rover LR4

2012 lr4; the driver's side seat belt does not retract well; dealer said "just give it a tug to get it to retract;" don't think that's a solution; retraction tension is not strong enough; as a result, the belt and its metal head get caught in the door, damaging the door upholstery and paint finish, as well as damaging (weakening probably) the belt. *tr
