Stopped at a stoplight behind another vehicle, when the engine suddenly revved and the vehicle took off. the vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own with a foot already on the brake- we continued to push on the brake and veered off to the side but clipped the vehicle in front of us. it was like we had no control over the vehicle. *tr

The land rover radios have a dangerously slow latency time when reacting to touch inputs. on some operations it take 3-4 seconds for the radio to react. most operations are in the 1-2 second range. this is a major distracted driving issue. input latency should never be this excessive - it requires you to take your eyes off the road repeatedly because you can't determine if the radio/nav system has detected your input. the dealer claims there is no fix from land rover corporate. this issue is reported by several sources on-line. lr should release and engineering update in the interest of safety. *tr
