Dt*: the contact stated while attempting a left hand turn at 15mph, the steering rack and pinion broke without warning. the contact managed to stop the vehicle, but the steering was immobile. the vehicle was towed to the dealership. the dealer replaced the steering rack and pinion once before. the previous replacement occurred at a regular maintenance inspection, but the vehicle displayed no obvious problems. the vehicle was turned over to the dealer because the contact wished to relinquish ownership.

Consumer stated that while driving and without warning steering wheel would pull in either direction. dealer notified. *ak
