Tl* the contact owns a 2007 kia rondo. while driving 73 mph, the brakes failed to disengage the cruise control when the brake pedal was depressed. the contact pulled over to the shoulder and turned off the vehicle. the contact mentioned that the gear shift lever was stuck in the drive position, but was able to shift into park by using a key to press the shift-interlock tab. the vehicle was able to restart. the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 13v114000 (exterior lighting, service brakes, hydraulic). the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 86,250.

2007 kia rondo engine stalls for no reason ever since i have gotten this car the engine has stall on a number of times when at a stop sign or stop light for no reason what so ever. as the car is about to take off from stop the engine stall out. i have taken it in on a number of times for this and they tell me the check engine light should come on with any stall of the engine. no check engine light has ever come on! this has happened ever since they replace the transmission after 3000 miles when we got the car. *tr
