Problems with 2011 Jeep Wrangler FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

On average, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler starts to “feel” problems with the FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM and its various aspects after 52 323 miles.

When i fill the gas tank, the station pump clicks off the nozzle then gas spits back out of my tank all over the side of my jeep and onto the ground.

When filling with fuel, gas will spit back from the filler neck and all over the side of the jeep right before the fuel nozzle clicks off. this has happened 3 times now in the 3 weeks since i bought this vehicle from a dealer. this creates a fire hazard in the event gas hit a hot spot or a spark caused by static, etc...

When filling up at a fuel pump, the fuel pump handle will click off and after that happens, about 1/4 of a gallon of fuel will spill out of the filler neck onto the side of my vehicle.

On going issue of fuel back splash when fueling. after pump shuts off fuel pours back out on to the vehicle and ground. on going issue.

2011 jeep sahara wrangler refueling problem. refueling geyser overflow problem of gasoline at where nozzle enters vehicle. requires manually clicking off handle when fuel tank is completely full overflowing gasoline on ground, jeep, and self, (fuel on hands and shoes). this overflow occurred january 25, 2019, february 11, 2019, and march 10, 2019. we are the original owners from berglund jeep dodge ram dealership and the service advisor indicated repairs would not be covered april 3, 2019.

Fuel sprays out of filler when filling fuel tank. the nozzle shuts off and then the fuel flows out onto operator and exterior of car and ground.

When refueling, the gas does not shut off and spills out of the tank until user shuts off. this happens each time you refuel and you are unable to fill up to shut off. i have spilled gasoline, on vehicle, clothing, ground, gas pump, etc. this is a pretty serious issue and i could not find a recall. i don't think this should be ignored. i had to add a date below, just the latest time it has been an issue. it has occurred multiple times to myself and my spouse.

My check engine light is on. after taking it in for a diagnostic test, they said my pcm failed. my jeep will not pass emissions the computer is not opening and closing my egr value.

Crack in gas tank - the check engine light illuminated yesterday when i started the vehicle. i took my vehicle to my mechanic. there is a crack in the top of the gas tank. my mechanic said that after research in trying to get a new gas tank, he found that this is an issue. mopar has a significant backorder for these tanks. this is definitely a safety issue and i hope it will be looked into.

Jeep has a leak at moulded valve for evap system on the top of the fuel tank

The fuel tank rusted and had to be replaced. the dealership told me the tank was on backorder and this was an ongoing issue.

Gas tank overflows when filling vehicle.. i have seen several complaints on line

When i fill up at the pump gas overflows - tried different stations and setting on the lever.

When fueling the gas tank, gas will spew out in large volumes before the gas pump habdle deactivate allowing gas to spill over the side of jeep and on to the ground. it happens at multiple gas stations and multiple pumps. problem is with jeep, not the gas pump handle. simple google search reveals a miriad of the same problem. vehicle is stationary. note: has happened alot practically everytime, not just the date entered.
