Windsheild cracks very easily i live in arizona all automobiles on the highway will have pebbles or small debris hit the windsheild. in the first week, i can tell by the sound but the smallest rock cracked my sheild. i took it in to hope the warranty would cover. they told me use my insurance and file a claim on the way home anther small rock hit my windsheild and i have anther crack. ive owned many vehicles in arizona never hacve i have never seen a winshiled break so easily and if i get a claim submitted weekly my rates will go up... eveytime i go for a carwash there is several jeep renegades there getting there rock chips replaced or fixed.. im very disappointed there is not a recall or there not trying to fix the problem if i search online there is several people who. complain on blogs. but jeep refuses to admit theres an issue.
Purchased vehicle new from dealer stock in patchogue, ny, with trailhawk trim. had it a little over a month, and have less than 1000 miles on it. within the 1st week the windshield cracked and dealer refused to replace it even though it had a wave in it at eye level. have seen other complaints about this online. at same time, we noticed a problem with climate control and dealer couldn't get us in to look at it for about a month. what happens is after the car is shut off and temp is left at say 72 in all zones, often when you restart the vehicle later or the next day it is no longer set to 72 and may be blasting superhot air at 90 or jump to low ac or anything in between. its a completely random temperature having nothing to do with outside air temp. also, doesn't happen with every restart. this car has the auto climate control feature too, but the issue happens whether we leave it on auto or manual. we also checked to make sure no one was knocking into the control with legs or handbags etc. dealer service manager says this is "just how jeep manufactured it", and "the jeep engineers deliberately want the temperature to be random because its not a priority". this is my third chrysler/dodge/jeep vehicle, and the problem has not happened in either of the other two, so that it sounds to me like just a dealer being lazy and not wanting to fix the problem. i also called jeep customer care and got little help so far. however, it is clear to me no engineer would ever design a car to be so deliberately inconvenient and potentially dangerous where you have to spend the first few moments in your car fiddling with digital temperature controls. ever car i have ever driven stores your last temperature and resumes that temperature when you return. did i mention we are extremely dissatisfied with this vehicle as a result and have already told many friends to avoid jeep. terrible.
I have stalled about 6 times while in motion on city street. usually shortly after leaving. at 3,500 miles, turned the corner, stalled again. not a drop of oil in it with no leaking, no smoke, no check oil or engine lights. dealer said this is "normal". has stalled since while in motion, with enough oil in the engine. *tt *tr
Bought new 2018 jeep renegade. traveling from panama city florida to a new duty station at ft. bliss (el paso texas). at around 400 miles on the vehicle odometer, windshield started cracking. at around 1400 miles on vehicle odometer, transmission and engine failed 5 separate times while trying to get to a safe place to pull over. we were traveling west on interstate 10, posted speed limit 80 mph, approximately 4 foot of shoulder some areas, zero feet where guard rails were.
