The alternator on the vehicle went which affected the battery and the computer system, car nearly caught on fire. the repair person said this should have been listed as a recall because a certain fuse could have avoided the problem. the computer is on back order, going on 3 weeks and this appears to be a ongoing problem with these vehicles.
Skyslider roof unhinges off track and leaks terribly. almost blew off on highway while driving 65 mph. cannot be put back on track
Tamara recall, the converter that switches from heat to cold is not working. i don't have any heat coming from the vents just cold air and sometimes lukewarm air but not hot air. i really don't know the name of the part but i know it is under the dashboard and i have seen video on u tube about how this part malfunction and it seems to be a big problem with jeeps.
I purchased the vehicle from the original owner. it is an immaculate vehicle. however, the sky glider had leaked sometime in the past ownership terribly. stained inside. they told me they had replaced the seal at some point. it still leaks terribly. when it rains, wash it, etc. i'd like to know what to do to permanently fix the leak
The doors do lock through the electrical system. you can manually lock and unlock the vehicle but can not lock/unlock through the electrical system. cd player also does not work. i believe the issue may be stemming from the fuse box under the hood, i have checked all the fuses and everything shows to be good.
While driving the window driver side suddenly dropped and smoke came out of the driver door panel. smoke increased rapidly and he began to emanate from the door. once pulled over flames began coming through the plastic portion of the door where the window and door lock controls are located.
I have a 2011 jeep liberty with a sky roof, our veh barely has 85k miles on it. we are having an issue with the roof leaking, wind noise and now out sky slider has broken. we had no had any issues prior, one day when we were trying to open the sky slider it would not open. when it finally did open, it got stuck while we were closing it and now we have a giant hole in our roof because it will not close.
