Tl* the contact owns a 2009 jeep liberty. the contact stated that the slider roof hesitated to operate. in addition, the contact stated that there was a leak on the driver side and the rearview mirror. the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the right and left side pins were fractured and the slider roof needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 104,968.

The defroster on these models are centered on the dashboard and do not extend far enough to the left and right to prevent icing of the windshield and wipers, which causes visibility issues. it has been an issue since new, and the dealer says it is a characteristic of the vehicle. some type of adapter to direct more of the defrost to the edges of the windshield would be helpful. *tr
