Recently reported UNKNOWN OR OTHER problems on 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I was driving straight on the highway at about 65 mph on 12/13/19 when i heard an explosion, and suddenly glass was raining down on me. thankfully my newborn was not in the backseat at the time! my sunroof was shattered; i didn't see any debris hit my car prior to this happening. there were no vehicles close enough to me to flip up rocks or other debris. it seems my sunroof exploded on it's own, for no apparent reason and without warning. there is no item inside my vehicle to indicate something came through the sunroof and landed in my car. no damage to any other portion of the exterior of the vehicle. there is a large hole in the sunroof; the remaining glass is shattered and there are glass shards littered throughout the cabin of my vehicle.

Car turns of while driving and has about 34,000 miles this is so dangerous and can cause a serious accident it has happen3x in 2 weeks. the third time i was at a traffic light and when it turned green i couldn't move. car needed to restart just imagine being on a highway this could of been worse. i seen several complaints on numerous of websites why isn't this being recalled.

On june 15,2019 my sunroof on my 2016 jeep grand cherokee exploded as i was exiting a garage. the explosion sounded like a gunshot and i was showered with glass.

My sunroof exploded while driving on the highway. i was going about 65 and there were no other vehicles around me. there was nothing that could have flown off the car. it exploded out of thin air.

Call while being stopped changes height at stop and go lights and when being parked or started without my intervention. i took it for repair they found a faulty air compressor but jeep instructed dealer not to fix.

The vehicle stalled while driving at a low speed entering a highway that was backed-up.

Less a complaint right now but how do out shut off the engine in case of a brake failure with a keyless start? currently the only way to shut off the engine is when transmission is in park. if there is a kill switch inside the cabin i don't know where it's located.

This vehicle has a start/stop "feature" that shuts the engine off when stopping at a stop light and restarts when foot taken off brake. it has a delay of a couple of seconds to restart the engine, during which time the vehicle cannot be driven. the system can be turned off with a switch in the vehicle, but it has to be done every time the car is started - if the driver remembers. the system is working correctly, however i have almost been rear-ended several time because the system is slow to react. it is a major issue if you are in an intersection attempting to make a left turn - the delay has almost gotten us killed twice (no actual accident - yet). i was told by our jeep dealer, and have read online, that there is no way to permanently bypass this feature for the safety of the driver. i believe there should be an option on these vehicles to turn this feature off permanently so that it will stay turned off the next time the car is started.

While driving at normal highway and roadway speeds, with the windows in the up position, the air vents inside my vehicle do not emit natural air flow from the front of the vehicle. the inside of veh-1 begins to become stuffy and there is no way for the driver of veh-1 to get air unless the driver turns on controlled air by fan. this issue has been brought to jeep of berkeley and the issue has not been remedied. veh-1's ventilation system is responsible for pushing air into the cabin of the car. this is not occurring. i have not received any response from jeep in regards to this issue that they seem to not be able to understand. my family uses veh-1 and in an event that an accident occurs, natural air would be halted.

The wide screen radio is not secure enough to prevent thief. thieves break out left passenger rear door window, climb in and in two minutes steal the radio. more security needs to be in place on thi radio.

I purchased a new jeep cherokee summit vin # [xxx] , be advised the car cannot be registered, and is in recall . the dealership stopped returning phone calls ,and cannot be reached . i believe there is some type of fraud ongoing, if this cannot be rectified immediately , i am left with no other recourse than to notify the police , and get my attorney's involved. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
