Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep grand cherokee 4x4. the contact stated that the towing hitch extender moves up and down. he stated that the hitch should be secured. the vin was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 4,000.

The factory installed tow hitch has too much play (clearance or slip fit).when you install a standard size receiver(male) you can move it up and down .500 of an inch or more. it is way too sloppy of a fit. this will lead to lock pin wear and in an extreme case, pin shear. this is an accident waiting to happen.please inspect this fit.*ak
