The window regulators need to be recalls. the first one to go was the drivers window regulator. cost over $500.00 with parts and labor. the plastic part in the regulator broke and the window went down in the door. my husband was able to order the part on line for $200 and fix it himself. the second window regulator to go was the drivers rear passenger window. as i was driving the window kept inching down. had to stop 3 times on the way home to pull the window up so it wouldn't fall into the door,taped it up till i got home. again the window regulator something broke inside the part. ordered another regulator on line and had to have my husband fit it. if you go to carcomplains.com you will see many of the same complaints. this part should be recalled. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 jeep grand cherokee. the contact stated that the sunroof was leaking water into the vehicle. the failure reoccurred during rain weather conditions. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was unknown.

Power window breaks constantly;. 400$ to repair. the plastic piece where the cable is attached cracks and the whole mechanism needs to be replaced because of a .50$ piece that could be made of metal. *tr
New 2006 jeep grand cherokee, purchased on 3/31/07. leak in sun roof repaired 3 times after calling manufacturer. today while driving 10 miles mph engine shut off, lost all steering and brakes. *ak
2006 jeep grand cherokee laredo dashboard lights keep illuminating. consumer states that the indicator lights were for the brake system. she stated that she lost all power brakes. repair shop received the tensioner and repaired the vehicle. *kb the consumer stated she received a recall in the mail after she had experienced the problem. the serpentine belt tensioner was replaced and the rear defroster line was inoperative. *jb
