Vehicle bought brand new for jeep dealer. only has 92,000 miles. wife had a flat tire monday june 17th. called for a tow truck to put spare tire on. refused because vehicle came with a 17in spare .tires are 225 75 16 in from factory. spare has never been installed. has all stickers on rim, writing on tire no marks of installing. police officer told my wife if he had seen it on vehicle she would have been given a ticket for a unsafe tire. contacted both dealer and jeep. would not do anything. if this vehicle came with wrong spare, how many other vehicles have and where driven and caused accident. there is probably less than 2 in of clearance. somebody who just puts it on may not notice.

My jeep violently shakes when i'm driving speeds of 50+ and it is very dangerous because as we all know highways and freeways are speeds between 55 and 70 and i cannot drive over 50. the other day it started to shake so bad that i had to pull over and almost hit the cement guard rail. i have to transport my grandchildren from time to time and god forbid anything happen to them chrysler will be responsible. i have done research and this issue is called the death wobble and is the perfect name for it. they need to do a recall on this issue before someone gets killed. please make chrysler do the right thing and fix this problem.

Somehow a wheel popped off of my 1999 jeep grand cherokee that i bought used from a certified jeep dealer a year and a half ago (2002). i am unsure how this happened, but all 5 lug nuts broke off, causing the wheel to completely pop off. luckily, i wasn't driving more than 10 mph when this happened. i have never taken my car in to get fixed for anything during the time i owned it. i have taken it in for oil changes and responded to a couple recalls on my car, but that's it. the last mechanic who touched this car was from the jeep dealership where i bought it. currently, the car has 37,000 miles on it. as i said before, i am unsure how this happened. i haven't been in an accident, haven't hit the wheels on anything, haven't rotated the tires, etc. this is a major safety concern for all jeep owners. i'm currently working with the jeep dealership to figure this out and i plan on contacting the manufacturer asap. i want to sure this doesn't happen to me again and i want to be sure other drivers are not at risk. *la
