Problems with 2007 Jeep Compass SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

While trying to stop on slippery surfaces 3 out of 5 times my abs is non existent and my wheels lock up i first noticed this in december 2009. last night i was driving on a icy snow covered road. i was coming to a stop sign, i applied my brakes and i didn't feel like i was stopping. i gave the pedal more pressure and i started to fishtail almost colliding with a parked vehicle. the next stop sign i came to abs worked fine. after that my wheels locked up. this vehicle is a complete joke. also note vehicle is equipped with good snow tires. *tr
