On december 6, 2019, during a return trip from louisiana to texas, the airbag warning light on the dashboard turned on and off two times over a seven hour period while driving on a highway. on december 19, 2019, the airbag warning light turned on as i was leaving the house. it stayed on for approximately 2 minutes and then went back off. this was while while driving on a city street. i have seen a total of three events where the airbag warning light has switched on and then off while driving.
Car was totaled other driver was a dui front passenger lower air bag did not deploy.

Air bag light coming on intermittently. and a message on the screen that the air bag system needs repair. i called one dealer and they could not even give me a day to bring it in. stopped at another dealer and it was about 13 days before i could get it in. i did finally get it into the dealer. that very day there was a report to the dealers of an issue. that was on june 20. they do have a recall online, i have received nothing in the mail. there still is no fix apparently. it has been over a month. this happens when the vehicle is in motion.
Takata recall i had witnessed my air bags not deploy, when i was just involved in a car accident. because i had unintended acceleration which caused me to not be able to stop and we were hit on the side and our side air bags did not deploy on our right side. *dt*jb
Jeep has 6664 miles on it and airbag service light came on and says that airbag needs serviced. at first the light would come on and then turn back off however, now the light is on and remains on. next complaint is that after slowing vehicle down and beginning to accelerate again, the jeep seems to not want to accelerate normally...it is hesitant and then suddenly picks up speed. 3rd complaint. while sitting at a light or stop sign it feels like the engine is pulling against the brake (as if you were trying to accelerate and brake at same time) in a "lunging" manner.
