About a year ago both of my front power windows quit working on my 2000 jeep cherokee sport within weeks of each other. i have talked about this with several other people who own cherokees and they too have had the same problem. my concern is that if i were were in an accident that forced my car to be submerged in a body of water i would have to wait until the entire cabin filled with water before i could attempt any escape. my mother who owns a nissan xterra also had the same problem but last month nissan issued a recall and all 4 of her windows were replaced. *nm
