Every couple of weeks the blind spot monitor function on my 2014 xj awd malfunctions for no apparent reason. i get the fault message, "blind spot monitor blocked" even though nothing is blocking the sensor. this function stops working until i turn off the vehicle and restart it to reset the vehicle's computer. i have taken it in to rosenthal jaguar of tyson corner in vienna, va twice for this malfunction. the technicians have not been able to figure out what is causing the problem. other jaguar owners with this feature in their vehicles are reporting the same issue. this is clearly a design issue with the jaguar vehicles that needs to be investigated so that a solution can be found to resolve the problem and a recall can be conducted on affected vehicles to fix this issue. *tr
