My jaguar x-type 2004 car when traveling at about 25-30 mph alternately gets sluggish and slows or revs up, causing me to apply brakes hard to prevent collisions. i have to allow enormous space between me and the vehicle ahead because i am afraid of colliding with vehicles in front. also have to brake hard to to overcome the surging forth of the engine. the car will also rev up when i am parking it. these are such common occurrences, and it seems to be a manufacturing malfunction. jaguar should recall all 2004 x-types to fix these dangerous and potentially life threatening machines. i request that the nhtsa immediately follow up and require recall of these road hazards. thank you.
