Tl*the contact owns a 2001 jaguar s-type. the contact stated the vehicle rolled backwards while in park and the transmission was replaced twice. the vehicle was taken back to the transmission mechanic who performed a diagnostic test which located the failure within the transmission cable. the contact also stated that the rear seats and seat belt buckle were defective. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 98,000 and the current mileage was 150,000.

Consumer was at an intersection making a left turn, and another motorist hit her on driver's side of door. vehicle accelerated and ran into a tree. upon impact, dual airbags didn't go off. also, driver's side seatbelt didn't hold her in. dealership was aware of problem.*ak
