At random intervals, the engine fan go into a 'roar' at 100% rpm and not stop until the car is shut off. this occurs regardless of the outside temperature (summer at 90f, winter at 30f aka just now). the fan noise is not proportional to the engine rpm and remains constant once it starts. the car can be shut off completely and immediately started and the fan will be reset and silent, sometimes for the rest of the day. the jet-engine sound from the fan is not fixed by turning the car off and on, just reset to the next daily occurrence. our 9 month old e-pace will do this at least once a day if not more.
