My tank was reading 1/4 of gas in my tank. and the vehicle just shut off. my husband went and got gas and it started right up. i was almost hit by 5 vehicles that to were driving about 70 mph. please help. there is a recall for the 2005 model for the same thing but its happened 3 times to me in the 2004 model. please help!!!! *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 infiniti qx56. the contact stated that while attempting to park, the vehicle stalled and could not be restarted. the vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic, who advised that the fuel level sensor failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and advised that the vehicle was previously repaired under a manufacturer's recall and offered no further assistance. the failure and current mileage was approximately 109,000. the vin was unavailable. *tr
