While driving on a highway (i95, speed 55 mph) the engine suddenly died, was able to pull over and restart the engine, which now made a terrible mechanic noise. could drive off to a smaller road where the engine stalled again. had to tow the car to the dealer, who advised that the engine needed to be changed. two weeks later the engine was finally changed but now this time they stated that the turbos needed to be changed. the parts were, however, on back order - dealer cannot say how long before it can be repaired. after 3 weeks and many phone conversations i still do not have a car. this is after all a new (18000 miles) >50k car but apparently it was nothing but a lemon.
I have a infiniti q50s redsport 2017 actually have 34000 miles in the odometer. this car have a factory defect that involves engine parts in this case serpentine belt, belt tensioner and pulleys. there is a tsb at this time for this issue but in the majority of cases the cars still showing up the issue. major issue at this time is that serpentine belt brokes while car is on move. the car needs to be stoppend since engine overheat and also baterry light goes on. the belt tensioner get stuck and pulleys in some of the cases melt down. in my case my car has visited 2 times with the same issue. there is a tsb that pretend to fix that issue realigning the ac compressor. at this time there is few houndreds maybee more cara affected. i think this is a major issue since the serpentine belt broke and engine stop being functional due overheating. this can cause a major accident or other security problem.
