I've had the same problems that other infiniti i-35s have experienced in regards to losing power, engine cutting off and lack of braking. my car initially stalled while i was parked at a red light. after a few attempts to restart, it finally did. i made an appointment to see the dealer about this problem four days later. while driving to the dealer, my car engine lights all lit up and the car stalled and i had no braking ability. fortunately, i was going only about 10 mph when this happened and was able to pull over to a lane without cars and applied my parking break to stop the car. after five minutes of attempting to restart, it finally did. i was only two miles from the dealer, so i slowly drove it there. they told me the problem was both crank sensors along with the crank shaft. i had them replaced at a cost of close to $1000. it seems to me that if there are so many complaints regarding this problem, it should be looked into as a safety recall issue. if i were going faster, i could have crashed into someone. one week before this happened, i was driving through mountain roads with many twists and turns. if this happened during that drive, i would probably be dead by now. *tr
