On friday 7-august-2015 my wife's 2010 ex35 did not crancked. vehicle got towed to infiniti service department. diagnostic was ran and the faulty part is the steering wheel lock unit. a former infiniti mechanic told me that nissan altima's use the same part and got recalled on those vehicles. he also states that with just moving the telescoping the steering wheel in and out the problem goes away. he was right and now the vehicle starts. however service department states that the vehicle could lock the steering wheel while driving. they want $1,100 to fix the problem. my take is that this is a safety issue and should be threated as the same situation as the altima.
