My wife was on her way to work and coming up to a stop sign, but she had no brakes,,,she went straight threw 108 highway lucky no cars .,,, so i looked into it and i see there is a bad design made ,,,the pad should over lap the edge of rotor or be even with the rotor,,,,it leaves a 1/8 inch lip on rotor outer edge and so the metal on the pad grabs top and bottom and no pad touches metal,,,,,,this car is a 2005 hyundai xg350 4 door i left the rotors front left and right not turned or shaved just so you can see it for your self i worked in a auto shop for two years never seen this type of wear ,,,,, *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 hyundai xg350. the contact stated that the abs and air bag lights illuminated intermittently. the dealer stated that the failure was due to a shortage and was not a serious safety issue. the dealer replaced a control module in the back of the front driver's seat, however, the failure continued. the current mileage was 32,207 and failure mileage was 15,000. updated 01/11/08. *lj the clockspring was replaced. updated
