I was driving in a grocery store parking lot and went over a speed bump at maybe 2 miles an hour and both my front headrest discharged.

I have visit the hyundai dealer for several times my car is only 27500 miles the power seat would not back up, i enter the car with extreme difficulty, i have to recline the seat to seat in the car in a very uncomfortable position, not to mention my right knee touching the dashboard, is been more than 5 times, hoping to never have a small accident because if the air back activates in the incident i won't be writing it in a future. please help! it can happen any time when adjusting your car seat, the only way ito fix the problem is visiting the dealer for warranty service. please help!

I was turning into the driveway of a shopping center when i was rear-ended by another car. the force of the collision caused both active headrests to launch. the force of the active headrest hitting the back of my head caused a concussion and for two days a loss of all memories going back approximately 4 years. i was hospitalized and stayed one night. most of my memories have returned but i have absolutely no memory of the day of the accident pre, during, or post accident. i am home now but cannot drive for at least two weeks and i am not allowed to travel on business because of caution about the accident. these headrests are dangerous. any marginal protection they might provide is not worth the suffering of a concussion and the loss of memory. it could have been worse. what if i had not been able to recover my memory or worse yet, not able to create new memories. for the first day i was in the hospital, i could not remember a single thing i was told no matter how many times i was told. i am being told by hyundai that they cannot replace the active headrests with normal headrests. that is very frightening. i don't want those things in my car. i learned through experience how dangerous they are. *tr
