Problems with 2010 Hyundai Genesis AIR BAGS

There is a split across my dash were the air big is i call the main office and i was told that they will not fix it.my concern is my family safety

The air bag sensor indicator is on and it won't go off. the dealership at hyundai west broad st is telling me that it needs a pods ecu, which cost 3,000.00 and i told them their is a recall on the genesis coupe/2010 for the same issue and why isn't this cover by hyundai for the genesis sedan? they will not acknowledge this nor will they call hyundai and ask why isn't this same defect cover for the sedan just like it is for the genesis coupe? west broad hyundai dealership in richmond, va. wants to charged me $3,500.00 to fix this problem on my car so it will pass state inspection.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 hyundai genesis. while driving, the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. as a result, the vehicle crashed into a ditch. the vehicle was serviced under nhtsa campaign number: 13v489000 (service brakes, hydraulic). the air bags did not deploy. there were no injuries and a police report was not filed. the vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the hydraulic electronic control unit needed to be replaced. the passenger fender needed to be repaired and the front passenger tire needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 52,000.

Airbag i brought my car in to have the airbag and dash checked by hyundai dealer in west palm beach florida. the dash around my airbag has cracked in a perfect line at the air bag location photo attached. they refused to check the airbag. however they contacted hyundai and asked for dash replacement. hyundai was willing to pay for the dash part but not any labor to install new dash or to check my airbag to make sure it will not go off. i am asking for help to get my airbag checked and also have the dash removed and replaced by hyundai. i am very concerned that this passenger airbag is affected by the recall. i need this checked out before an insistent happens. please help. they also refused to put anything in writing. phone case number 8648772.
