I can be driving and the d for drive will go out if i park and get out and get back in and put my car in drive my car won't go anywhere i will have to find a screw driver and press the release button beside the gears i can try to parallel park in traffic and as soon as i put my car in reverse then back on driver car won't move i have to continue to go in reverse or get out and have my car pushed until the car is ready to go back into drive. *tr
2006 hyundai azera. consumer states vehicle has an electrical problem and lurches forward during downshifts *tgw the consumer stated while driving at night, the headlights and dash board lights would flicker on and off, randomly. also, the vehicle would lurch at times as it downshifted. it would hesitate, then jerk forward. *jb the consumer stated the problem was correct by hyundai, but it has since returned. updated 09/06/11
Tl*the contact owns a 2006 hyundai azera. the contact stated that the passenger side headlight was not aligned properly. the vin was excluded from nhtsa campaign id number 08e021000. the manufacturer stated that they would not assist with any repairs. while performing regular maintenance on the vehicle, the dealer found large amounts of grease deposited inside the rim of the vehicle. the dealer stated that the cv joints were leaking grease and new ones were needed at the contact's expense. the failure and current mileages were less than 45,000. also, the left front door lock did not lock and unlock properly. the dealer replaced the door actuator. updated evoq 12/16/10
Repeated ( four occasions ) warning on dashboard that the airbag system was not functioning properly. dealer has been unable to solve problem. driver's door repeatedly will not latch. oil leaks repeatedly - three occasions - head gasket replaced twice complete electrical failure twice - alternator replaced transmission rough shifting and rough, delayed engagement into reverse on 12/30/08. *tr
