Front passenger seat belt locks up, and does not permit to move while in seat. only way to unlock strap is to unbuckle and allow belt to fully retract. seat belt was replaced by manufacturer, but problem still exists. consumer concerned about safety because constantly has to remove belt during travel to adjust.*aki

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 honda passport. the passenger side seat belts locks when a person occupies the front seat. the seat belt is restrictive, and the belt will not un-latch from the buckle. additionally the abs system will not activate in situations that warrant. the vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, and the locks on the seat belt were replaced. he has spent over $2800.00 replacing various brake components. the failure mileage was zero. the current mileage was 64,000.
