I have a 2000 honda passport i bought it 9 months ago and maybe used it for a month. it would cut off if foot not on gas. brought to mechanics plug up the scanner it said electronic throttle body. i went to dealership bought new one now the scanner says tps codes the mechanic told me either a bad wire from the throttle body or a bad computer i done numerous things to it like egr valve had the egr tube cleaned new coil packs new spark plugs new boots new battery new throttle body and still stuck cant figure it out need help! *tr
Computer linkage between accelerator and engine failed causing a rapid deceleration of the auto in high speed traffic to about 10mph. at that time there was no ablity to control the vehicles speed.the result was several near miss accidents while try to get the car off the highway at slow speeds.*ak
