While vehicle in motion, first time brake pedal gets soft and get pressed extensively to floor with loss of braking power, if u hit brake immediately after first press, brake pedal works normal. again once u hit acceleration, and try to hit brake, first attempt of braking gets very soft and almost bottom out without much braking power then immediately second push to brake pedal becomes more normal and harder braking. whole cycle keeps repeating.
The front rotors warped and cause the steering wheels and front end of the car to shake whiling breaking at high speed. shaking isn't noticeable under 30mph but the fast you go, the worst the shaking becomes. we had this issue with our older 2012 odyssey and there was a recall for the it. when i ask the dealer about this issue, i was told there is no recall list for it and i will have to pay for replace my breaks and rotors.
After getting a car wash from an automated car wash, while driving to a parking stall to vacuum the interior of the vehicle. in the process of turning left into the parking stall and braking to park the vehicle, the engine suddenly rev'd, accelerating the vehicle over a parking curb block and into a pole at the car wash. the resulting collision happened across the span of half a parking space and knocked the vehicle backwards a couple feet after colliding with the pole. the collision triggered both front air bags and resulted in a total loss of the vehicle and property damage of the car wash.
My wife's 2012 odyssey touring was parked on the ramp to our garage, with the emergency brake on. i released the brake and applied slight pressure to the accelerator with the car in reverse gear: it lurched backward and the brake could not stop it, though a neighbor's garage did. when i drove it forward to park it the car sped forward thirty feet or so before it obeyed the brake. the garage will need a new door -- at least -- but the car suffered minor damage, except that the taillights will not go off.
After spending money to get car fix. found out there are at least 60 recalls on this vehicle. i only gotten 7 or 8 recall letter from honda. accord8ng to the mechanic friend, i could have gotten a new car after all the repairs from the recall. call honda on this and they said it's your responsibility to ensure you take the car for recall repair. we are not responsible for missing recall letters, even if i never receive them
When pulling into a parking space this morning and applying the brakes, the brake pedal did not engage. pedal went to the floor with no resistance while making a grinding/slipping sound. i was going straight, less than 5 mph. i released the brake and reapplied quickly (pumped the brakes) before brakes finally engaged. this caused me to come very close, almost hitting the parked car in front of me in the parking lot. i checked the brake fluid reservoir was full and there was no apparent fluid on the ground beneath my car.
The transmission is not smooth at all. rough and delayed shifts. my car minivan only has 35,000 miles on it.
I was in a parking lot going less than 5 miles an hour and was turning right into a parking space. my foot was on the brake, but the car lurched forward and accelerated over the cement chock block, hitting a pole in front of the store.
Brake fluid is dropping in the reservoir and no signs of leaking brake fluid
Engine oil leak, when i step deep into the brake the steering wheel shakes. the vga alert appears.
