Tl* the contact owns a 2009 honda odyssey. while driving various speeds, the rear driver and passenger side automatic sliding doors inadvertently opened and also failed to close automatically. the door ajar indicator illuminated. the failure drained the battery, causing the contact to replace the battery twice. the vehicle was taken to apple honda (1375 us-58, riverhead, ny 11901, 631-727-0555) where it was diagnosed that the latches and the center rollers needed to be replaced. the failures were repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. the failure mileage was approximately 99,000.
2009 honda odyssey. rear hatch door in back will slam shut without any warning or being closed. no wind or external force caused it to slam shut very fast. thank goodness there was no one under the hatch door when it happened. also, rear hatch door sometimes will not stay up without being propped up to avoid from closing. *tr
