Tl* the contact owns a 2018 honda cr-v. while driving on the highway with no vehicles around, the emrgency braking system activated and the vehicle slowed down. the instrument panel flashed the brake sign. the vehicle was traveling approximately 65 mph and then slowed down to a much slower speed. the entire failure lasted approximately ten seconds and then resumed normal speed. the contact was able to resume her trip. this was the second time the failure occured. venice honda (985 us-41 byp, venice, fl 34285, (941) 486-8888) scheduled an appoinment to perform diagnostic testing under warranty. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 9,300.
