Takata recall-received notice of recall and called to schedule an appointment today 11/20/18 and first available appointment was 1/22/19.

Appointment to repair my vehicle for recall airbag inflator.

I had both airbag inflators replaced. however i recently received a notification from dealer saying the passenger bag needed doing. i thought this was weird, and checked the honda recall site, and it says "nothing needs replacing". however, today i doubled check with the dealer, and they said there was a "bulletin" associated with a potential faulty installation. i have no idea now if this is dealer [xxx] or a legit safety concern. please make sure honda knows about this. parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Vehicle was involved in a front end collision with a 2015 dodge ram 1500. the honda crv collided with the back of the parked dodge ram going about 35 miles an hour. driver braked hard 15 to 20 feet before impact. after impact the car smelled like gun powder but the airbags did not go off. the accident occurred on a four-lane road, 127th and homan in blue island illinois.

Takata recall i am very concerned that my daughter drives this car and the airbags, if deployed, could disperse sharp metal possibly causing fatalities. she is in seattle, wa at this time. is there a dealership there that would replace the air bags at no charge?

Takata riecall--nothing has happened yet! that's the problem . i used to be able to enjoy my car and i really liked driving it. now, because i have received these recall notices from the dealor and other agencies, i have been expecting premature expansions or a failure of it to expand when needed. this has changed everything for me and now i see i'm not even on the list. if you think i should consider myself lucky then you don't understand the feeling of driving a car at all. i've been stripped of that fundamental excitement of my new (used) car and now i'm exposed everyday to the uncertainty of getting safely to my destination or worse yet, hurting somebody else due to faulty equipment! what a tragedy this has become for everybody involved but please consider the emotional loss i have sustained not counting the financial burden from loss of services i expected and paid for in good faith. i didn't pay 20 thousand dollars to become a nervous wreck from the thoughts of having a wreck!

I need my airbag to be changed as per the public notice

Takaya recall i recently received a letter for my automobile dealer about the recall and i fear driving it due to the reported incidents of fatalities and numerous injuries!

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated after the vehicle was serviced per nhtsa campaign number: 16v061000 (air bags). the vehicle was taken back to the dealer (rhinelander honda, 1737 n stevens st, rhinelander, wi 54501) where it was diagnosed with clockspring failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer stated that the warranty had expired and that the failure was not related to the air bag inflator replacement. the manufacturer offered no further assistance. the failure mileage was approximately 137,000.

Takata recall - i think that the proper inflators have been replaced in my cr-v but i'm still getting recall notices. i had the work performed at sylacauga honda (256-245-5000). two different trips but that's another story. when i call them i just get the run around. how can i tell if the problem has been corrected?

1. air bags should have been changed @ the same time! when takata's dangerous airbags were discovered they bith should have been removed & replaced immediately! instead my family has been @ risk for far too long! i bought my honda crv ex-l brand new! i've been driving in a death trap ever since! why was honda not required to change both airbags? 2. i've read multiple complaints on the ac compressor/clutch's that honda has known (for 10 years) were dangerously placed, create malfunction of costly ac systems, (children die in hot cars far too often) from heat strokes, etc. as posted on your website! the ac/compressors pick up hazardous materials/waste that is then pushed throughout the ac unit! airport honda has had knowledge before my warranty expired of this problem in crv's. they did not disclose this costly issue, neglected to fix it, & it did malfunction. i paid for costly repairs, & i paid honda for a platinum vehicle warranty! i'm concerned that nhtsa has not held honda responsible for this stating it's not safety issue when it very clearly is! as a nurse & parent i put my child in a carseat which automatically increases his temperature. then you add ac issues in tn record heat & humidity (which also affects the airbags) & it's a deadly combination! this is a serious issue,& it is nhtsa's responsibility to hold honda accountable for their choices not inform their customers & continue putting them in danger. tn is known for brutal heat, humidity, asthma, & allergens! this is a public safety issue. i have my paperwork to legitimize my claim! investigate this, make honda notify customers! most people can't afford these repairs! we have had 90 degree days this october, ,& my crv is blowing hot air again! please contact me immediately & investigate this as a safety issue! okease forgibe the all caps, but this is ridiculous! i expect more from honda & more from you

Takata recall driver side and passenger side front air bags have been replaced. since replacement i have noticed that the dash warning lights indicate that the bags are not working and the side air bags also are not working, these warnings happen every time i start the car! i returned the car to the local dealer (the one that replaced both bags) and paid an additional fee to have the vehicle checked. at that time i also mentioned my complaint from purchase that the ignition key gets very hot and that the auto battery must be replaced every two years! their response was that they could not find anything wrong or unusual! the auto had 34849 miles on the odometer at the time (2/13/17) and contiues to date!

Takata recall: purchased the vehicle used in september of 2016. having previously owned a 2007 crv i was aware of the recall and advised that to upgraded vehicle was under a similar recall. i had already started the recall process on the 2007 so i immediately advised the dealership of my trade and gave them the vin number of my new vehicle and asked them to order the new air bags. that was in september of 2016 and to date i have heard nothing for the dealership or honda.

We have spoken to honda usa & dealer a few times, the dealer has stated that they have ordered our parts for the recall. after waiting 6 weeks for the equipment we have heard nothing from the dealer. i don't believe they are trying to resolve our situation.

Almost more than six months now parts are not available. for rentals car when we call company-we directed to dealer and when to dealer we are directed to company-vice versa. cannot afford to risk life and also cannot afford to keep on different people and hanging the phone for hours wasting my work hours and pay

Takata recall: after being notified by honda only in early 2016 regarding the defective airbags in our vehicle, honda has provided zero efforts in remedying the situation. honda has yet to receive parts to replace our airbags (and did not even place an order for them until we reached out to them) and has failed to offer a loaner vehicle despite the serious "injury or death" that may be caused by our continued use of our vehicle. also upsetting and frustrating is the fact that we have not even received a response after alerting our local honda dealership manager (jaime arreola at honda keyes woodland hills) that we have an upcoming cross-country road trip that we must take for business. our numerous follow-up calls to determine the status of the airbag replacement parts have also gone unanswered / unreturned.

In march of 2016, i received a recall notice to repair the driver side airbag of my crv. i was told that i would get notice when parts came in. in july of 2016 i received notice that the passenger side airbag would need repair. i called honda customer service a few weeks ago and they were going to contact me. so far, no call back and no repairs.do i need to get into a front end accident, with injuries, to get these repaired. i like this car but do not want to drive it anymore until these recalls are completed.

Takata recall on 08/22/2016. for oil change auto nation costa mesa ca. advisor mentioned recall, he orders the parts and it will take two weeks to sixty days and will call once parts arrives. after i got in my car i read the paper copy that i signed and it stated that 'while they wait for redesigned parts to become available, customer has elected to retain possession of their car and has signed the 'honda takata airbag inflator retention/storage owner indemnification agreement' i said does agreement mean that i am willing to drive my own car? he said yes. i said if i feel uncomfortable to drive my car because of safety issue what can be done. then he said you can get rental car for me. why not mentioned that i am signing an agreement about recall fix and explain it to me? why customer automatically gets signed to agreement when they sign for regular maintenance service without knowing what options are available to them? why mentioned about rental car before i signed agreement? what happens to other customer who don't even read their oil change service paper that they signed? i left with my own car, as i didn't want to change into rental car, thinking they will call me within sixty days. 3-4 days before sixty days i called the dealership. they never called. made an appointment for 3-4 hrs of recall work. asked him does honda provide rental car for a day? he said no honda stopped renting car for airbag recall from september 15th. since last i was there on august 22nd they might have stopped rental cars for recall fix after that. went there for recall 10/26/2016 i asked same person rental car honda stopped providing rental from august 1st !! i was here on august 22nd for my oil change and they said yes. why not contact me within sixty day if the part was there? why flip-flop on rental car? not providing transparent information.

Takata recall-i went to paragon honda service station after receiving a notice from dmv about the airbag recall. that was back in august 2016 they took down my information and said they would notify me. since then i have called them and checked the website and nothing has happened. i'm am afraid to drive the car because in the event of an accident this could prove to be fatal. i contacted honda corporate since contacting paragon has proven to be useless. the provided me with a case number 05807660 spoke someone named dani very snotty.

Takata recall i received a notification about my car from honda usa in the spring. i contacted the honda dealership and they told me that the parts would be available in the early summer. i contacted them again yesterday,8/9/2016. a service tech scheduled an appointment for 8/14/16 and told me that the repair would take about 90 minutes. less than a hour later i received a message to call the dealership back. the man did not leave his name. the receptionist told me his first name, peter. he did not anwer his direct line. i was transferred to someone else, nancy. she told me that honda had not yet provided the part and that "summer" was a vague timeline. she told me that the reported incidents all took place in the south where it is hot and humid and that i had no reason to be concerned. massachusetts has been very hot and humid this summer. i commute in and around boston, ma where traffic is terrible. i am very concerned about my safety in the event of an accident. the woman told me to call around other honda dealers to see if they had the parts. she said that the dealership will not notify me when the parts are available, i have to keep checking. i know other honda owners who have had their cars repaired 2 months ago. they were provided loaner cars until the parts were in stock without question.

Takata recall i called honda dealer and honda automobile customer service regarding the safety recall notice. the notice mentions "honda suggests that you avoid having a passenger sit in the front passenger's seat until the recall repair has been performed". so, i talked to honda carland at roswell, ga service department hoping to get a loaner. but the lady at the repair department told me that it's a suggestion but it's upto me if i drive with someone with front passenger. and the loaner is only for the driver side of the airbag and doesnt apply to passenger side of the airbag replacement. few days earlier, i was told that i have to only worry if the airbag light comes on and should be ok driving around. in my opinion, this is ridiculous as not all of them have a privilege not to use certain part of the car, while we wait weeks for it to get replacement. isn't' honda required by law to provide the loaner in this case? is one's health and life is less important for honda than saving few bucks?
