The driver-side power window switch does not function for the passenger front window. the passenger window does not roll down or up smooth, if at all. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the power locks failed and as a result, the vehicle had to be locked manually. the vehicle had not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the vin was unavailable. the approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

While driving on the interstate highway, my a/c stopped blowing cold air. took it to honda dealership and firestone autocare. i was told the compressor has busted. the total repair was quoted at us$1300. this seems to be a common problem for honda crvs and i am surprise that there has been no recalls yet. it is very disappointing and disgusting that in the time of the economy we are forced to bear the cost of a manufacturing defect. honda seems to give you a run around excuse. i live in chicago where 9 months out of 12 months you do not need an a/c. this is my 4th summer and adding the math, the a/c lasted just a little over 9 months. please give this. *tr

The side visibility on my 2007 honda crv is dangerous. i have never had a problem like this with any of the numerous vehicles i have owned. this has happened multiple times at a variety of speeds. regardless of how i set the side view mirrors, i have nearly caused collisions because of the 'blind spot.' because i am aware of this design deficiency, i am as careful as possible when changing lanes, i use my signal, look in the mirror, turn my head and then look in the mirror again. nevertheless, this is not sufficient. this does not happen when i drive other vehicles. if there is some device that can be added to the car i would suggest doing so. *tr

Wipers do not shut off after turning them off. when they do finally shut off, they park in the middle of the windshield. also, the intermittent feature does not work whatsoever when this occurs. this problem only occurs during rain events. wipers work properly on dry days. *tr

Windshield wipers do not park or turn off. distraction while driving. see honda service bulletin 07-071. *tr

There is a design flaw in our 2007 honda cr-v. in winter precipitation conditions, the front windshield wiper freezes. it is impossible to clear it without getting out of the car and clearing it manually. the problem is that the wiper rests below the windshield and there is no heating element to thaw a frozen wiper at all. this occurs every time there is precipitation below freezing temperature. this causes significantly reduced visibility. *tr

Windshield washer nozzle freezes up making it impossible to see clearly in freezing weather. i even stopped at autozone and poured in new washer fluid rated down to -20 below and drove car for 2 hours constantly trying to spray the front and rear washer but none came out. windshield was smeared with road salt and debris making visibility very poor. next day when temps went over freezing the washer started spraying again. *tr

On 2007 and newer honda crvs,, the side view mirrors are not convex as the are on most vehicle. this design defect results in a very large blind area, especially on the driver's side, that is still causing numerous problems after 2 years of driving due to inability to see cars driving anywhere close to the car. i have discussed this significant blind spot with several other cr-v owners and all have felt this is a serious problem. *tr

During the last three cold weather spells (temperatures below 32f) the windshield washer nozzle is freezing up and will not work. as a result the salt spray covers the windshield and significantly impairs visibility. i took the cr-v to the honda dealership service department and was informed that there are a number of people with the same complaint. per the service representative, not only are the nozzles freezing, but also the washer hoses leading to the nozzles under the hood are frozen as well. he indicated that there was nothing that i could do to prevent this from happening. i believe that this is a design flaw since i have had other honda vehicles that did not have the same problem. in fact, none of the other cars that i have previously owned had this problem. when i questioned about a recall, i was informed that there was none for this particular problem. yesterday, i was nearly involved in a major car pile-up due to the impaired visibility during an ice storm. i am greatly concerned about the hazards that this problem presents. i would like for the honda company to initiate a recall to fix this possible manufacturing defect before a fatality occurs. *tr

Windshield wipers fail- will not turn off / turn off and stop in the middle of windshield, does not differentiate speed- loud cracking/grinding sound from front of car by windshield repeatedly when wipers turned on (unclear if related)-- happens repeatedly although better performance upon first turning on. *tr

Wipers quit working when the washer function is used. wipers stay up and won't go down. *tr

The windshield has lamination problems that are known by honda. as a result, my vision is impaired while driving. honda service could not do anything, as all the cars on the lot have this problem. i called honda customer service, as the service department recommended. customer service recognizes the problem, but chose to do nothing about it. the car is a brand new 2007 honda crv. their answer is not acceptable to me. *jb

Tl* - the contact owns a 2007 honda crv. the power window devices and controls were not working properly. the contact had to stop the vehicle 50 times to clear the windows manually. the dealer and honda stated there was nothing they could do to assist him with diagnosis. the contact indicated the safety risk involved. the current and failure mileage were 2400.*ak

This is the third winter with our 2007 honda cr-v and there is a huge design flaw affecting the proper functioning of the windshield wipers during precipitation in cold weather. the snow and ice builds up in the large well beneath the wiper blades, causing the wiper blades to get stuck on this snow and ice, as well as the frozen precipitation sticking to the wiper blades. we have to constantly stop, get out of the car and break up the ice and snow from the well and the wiper blades in order for them to function correctly and safely. it's outrageous that a car that can be purchased with 4wd, clearly meant to be driven in snowy areas, would have this severe design flaw! honda really needs to address this flaw with a design solution to this problem that can be installed on this car! *tr
