Recently reported SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC problems on 2006 Honda CR-V

I have had this vehicle since 2006. never had any issues until this year when the abs and vsa light came on. at first there was no issue but it got to the point that even after replacing several sensors the lights would stay on and the vehicle's cruise control could not set. it also had a lag between braking to when the vehicle would stop. finally the engine seized in the middle of the road when my daughter was driving it. we replaced the engine to the tune of 2000.00 and now only a few weeks later the vsa light is back on. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 honda cr-v. the contact stated that the abs and vsa lights on the instrument panel illuminated and remained on. he also stated that a triangle with an exclamation point that he was not familiar with lit up as well. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the abs light caused the vsa and other lights to illuminate. the abs module also needed to be replaced. the contact was informed that he would be responsible for the repair costs. the vehicle was not repaired when the complaint was filed. the contact called the manufacturer who stated that they would pay half of the repair cost. the current mileage was 31,060. the failure mileage was approximately 31,030.

I rear-ended into another vehicle, even though i saw it and used the brake (full strength) from a reasonable distance. the brake was not working effectively. damaged body parts were replaced in may. i had a honda dealer to check my brake in the annual inspection, but was told nothing was wrong from their perspective. *tr
