Tanaka recall, i haven't received any notice from honda about the airbags! a recent accident deployed the airbags and the car is a loss of total! do i get any restitution before the accident happened? the car made a left turn when the other motorist hit the side of the front bumper as my car was going into motion on a main street

Takata airbag goes off when a passenger sit in the passenger seat of the car

My car was struck in an accident in which the air bags did not come out, not a single one. my car was stationary at a traffic light on a city street when another car at full speed struck from behind. from the impact the seat was twisted and once again no airbags came out. additionally, the seat belt got stuck and once i unbuckled my seat belt it did not return to its place like it normally does. within this complaint, i will attach pictures from the crash and it shows how the airbags did not come out.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 honda civic. while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle drove over a bump in the road and the driver's side air bag erroneously partially deployed. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. there were no injuries. an unknown dealer was notified of the failure. the manufacturer was not contacted. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 60,000.

Air bag light goes on and off randomly for the past 6 months.

Open or increased resistance in the driver's airbag first inflator. intermittent failure at this time.

The srs light comes on and off. most likely due to a faulty occupant sensor.

Car was stationary sitting in drive-way. air bag warning light came on dashboard as soon as car was turned on. car was taken to honda dealership and i was informed that two issues might be the cause: front right impact sensor failure ($300ish to replace) or srs motherboard failure ($1400 to replace). honda is refusing to pay for any safety failures on the car because, "vehicle is out of warranty". so even though the air bag may deploy at any moment or not deploy when needed (like a car crash); it is suppose to be paid for by the loyal honda customer to replace. i have not had my car serviced yet, might decide to go with someone other than honda for servicing. side note: car has never been in any accidents of any nature and has only been serviced at the dealership.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 honda civic. while driving 55 mph, the driver's air bag deployed without warning or an impact. there were no injuries. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 67,000.

My daughter was involved in a frontal collision on 9/27/2018 in her 2015 honda civic. the airbags did not deploy and she hit her head, chest, and pelvis on the steering wheel. we have had this car since it was new. she was driving about 35mph when a car started to turn in front of her, and they collided nearly head-on.

I just purchased this honda certified used car on may 7, 2018. after i started it in my dark garage the next morning, i noticed that to the right of the clock was a white "passenger airbag" notice that was on and remained on. i hadn't noticed it in the bright sunlight the day before when i drove the car home for the first time. i shut off the engine and started it again. that notice came on right away followed with with a larger, amber-colored "off" sign under it. this off sign went away after a few seconds, but the white "passenger airbag" notice stays on all the time that i drive the car, and every time that i have driven it. i do not have anything on or near the passenger seat. i called the dealer and someone in service told me to bring it in. i checked my owner's manual on pages 8-11 but the information there about the airbag was discussion about the "passenger airbag off" indicator as though it was one light, whereas on my car it is two lights...the white "passenger airbag" light that stays on all the time, and the amber "off" light that is only on for a few seconds. i checked the internet and found some discussion about this and it didn't seem to be normal for it to stay on all the time. when i got to the honda west, las vegas, service department the morning of may 9, 2018, i showed the service rep what was happening and he told me that his older honda had done exactly the same thing, and it was normal. i asked him to sit in my passenger seat (while the engine was still running) and the white "passenger airbag" light remain on. i don't know if i'm getting the correct information from this service guy. i tried to find a way to contact honda usa to ask them, but i couldn't find a way to do so. so contacting you seems to be the only way to hopefully get this resolved. the weight sensors on the seat seem to be tricky and i don't know if my passenger airbag is o.k.

Takata recall; airbag light has come on twice for no reason over the past 3 months for a few days at a time and will go off. has come on only when stationary and shows until it decides to go off after i've started the vehicle after a period of time, as if it never was on. transmission issue; transmission pulling/slipping. when putting vehicle into reverse or drive it stalls and jerks back. when accelerating from a stop vehicle stalls/jerks. when slowing to a stop vehicle jerks consistently. less than 100,000 miles.

Air bags have been replaced but vin number on the air bags have been removed.

My air bag light comes on and goes off randomly. i have taken it in to honda multiple times to get it looked at. they ran tests on it and didn't know why it was happening. i want to make sure that my airbag is working correctly. i have avoided having passengers in my car with me because of this, but can not come to a conclusion with the help of honda on what the issue is. this has been happening on and off for the past 8 months.

The vehicle (v-2) was involved in a collision at the 1-5 nb cypress off ramp in redding california in evening peak hour traffic (at 1810). v-2 was struck by v-1, which in turn pushed v-2 into v-3. both v-1 and v-2 were stationary at the time of collision. v-1, a isuza trooper sustained minor front end damage. v-2 received minor front end damage, and major rear end damage. v-3, a kia soul received minor rear end damage. the issue is that the v-2 airbag did not deploy or the seat-belt restrain the driver in the vehicle. the driver struck the steering wheel receiving a major brain concussion and broken nose upon being pushed by v-1 into v-3. several on the scene questioned the lack of airbag deployment or the seat-belt not providing the restraint necessary to prevent the injury. my concern is this is a failure of the safety systems necessary to restrain the driver. reporting party is the father of the driver of v-2, a teen driver.

I had a car accident a couple days ago i got injured from my neck and my back i hit my head on the steering wheel due to a malfunction of my air bags. they didn't deploy. but my car is asking me to check the air bag system and they turned off also my seat belt for some reason got stucked it won't pull more.

We were stopped in traffic, seat belts were fastened, turn signal on, and we were rear-ended by a work van moving at very high speed. our car was totaled. the front seats were broken due to the impact. no airbags deployed. not front, not side.

Dear lawyer, my honda civic exl 2015 was rear ended on the 9th day. then the car collided with the electric pole. kindly find the details- ?accident: 5th jan 2015 (http://goo.gl/bhcpgh) thus, i would be obliged if you could help me to make the claim. looking forward to talk to you soon. wishing you a great day. regards, [xxx] note-good thing about new as honda claims- "the hondalinktm assist5,11,12,28 automatic emergency response system is designed to get you the help you need when you need it most. if an airbag deployment sensor is triggered, this new collision detection system is engineered to automatically use your compatible bluetooth - paired phone to notify an operator, report the car?s current location and allow you to speak directly to the operator. if you?re unable to speak, emergency services should be dispatched immediately. it works with any compatible bluetoothpaired phone, does not require a subscription and helps give you peace of mind while you?re on the road." but to my surprise, air bag didn't deploy. jan 11- 2014, when i called the hondalink assist, representative confirmed that they get calls once airbag is deployed. online research proves that honda has been supplying faulty airbags. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
