After the recall,my side air bag has problem and need to be replaced due to the airbag light on and dealer checking. i wonder if this is due to the air bag quality issues.
Nhtsa recall # 16v346 was issued on july 20, 2016 to replace faulty airbags that split on impact. this notice only replaced the passage side air bag. i assumed the drivers side would be replaced at a later date but as yet haven't received a notice. according to the honda airbag inflator recall center, mailed notification to replace the drivers airbag will begin in april 2019, but i have not received a recall notice. i'm a senior citizen, 90 yrs old and still driving independently. an impact with a faulty airbag deployment would be devastating and possibly fatal. this is my formal claim to have my drivers airbag replaced as soon as possible. thank you.

Takata recall there is no available solution to repair the passenger side airbag of my vehicle.
I have a water leak on passenger side
Takata recall: i took my car to poway honda (poway, ca 92064). they charged me a diagnostic fee to fix this recall. i don't think it was fair that i have to pay a diagnostic fee, this should have been covered by the recall. my wife had taken the car to drop it off at the dealer. the dealer called me telling me that the srs light was on when my wife dropped it off (i later found out from my wife that they were lying about this - the srs light was not on when she dropped it off). they told me that since fixing the recall didn't cause the light to go off there was something else wrong and they needed to run additional diagnostics for which they charged me $120.88. after running the diagnostics they said that it was something wrong with the passenger side airbag inflator... i told them that was what the recall was for, then he quickly changed his story a couple of times from it being the drivers side airbag and then the passenger again. it sounded a little suspicious, and my suspicions were confirmed after talking to my wife, who stated that the srs nor any other warning light was on.
Takata recall the recall of the passenger airbag was supposed to be availablr by late summer/fall of 2016. it's almost the end of the year and the honda recall page still says recall status: recall incomplete. remedy not yet available.
Takata inflators -- airbag recall letter received july 2016 which said parts would be available in late summer/fall. letter said "honda will send you another letter when parts become available to repair your vehicle". it's mid december now and have not received a "parts available" letter from honda. very inconvenient to "avoid having passenger in front passenger seat". just called local dealership and they say they have had parts for quite some time. they don't know why honda never sent the second letter. in the meantime, we have been at risk and inconvenienced. this is a big mistake on their part and there should be follow up. *tr

Takata recall: i would like to file a complaint regarding a honda dealership that has failed to help with my recall. i contacted the honda of serramonte when i first got a letter in the mail in october 2016. since then i have called twice and they told me it may take a month to get the parts in onced i have ordered it, which i did. i then called after another two months and they forwarded me to the person that is in charge of the recall. she only had a voicemail and i left one for her. each time i called, i got forwarded from person to person and no one really helping me deal with the issue. everyday i'm driving around worried that if something happens with my airbag, how will i have a record of reporting it to the dealership to get it fixed. dealership 485 serramonte blvd colma, ca 94014 phone number (650) 758-4800
Takata recall - i received an initial letter alerting me of the dangerous situation with these airbags. however, i have yet to receive an additional letter letting me know that i can now get this part fixed. the online vin check still shows that the remedy is not available still, but it is terrifying to keep driving around knowing that people have died from the same problem. *tr

I used your site to see if there was any recalls on this car and your site said there are 0 recalls. so there for your site is false and does not keep an accurate track of recalls. this specific car and others have had recalls on the passenger side air bag.
Takata air bag failed recall! my 2007 honda civic sedan has an inflator malfuction located in the driver side rear that keeps the airbag light on at all times. ive taken it to valley high honda 2differant occasions. 2009, 2016 the dealer said they wont fix it, i should go to pick a part. honda america also told me they wont fix it. not covered under warranty! the bags are not in working order due to the light being on and will not deploy if involved in an accident! i thought safety was #1 priority for honda? i have all my documentation showing my multiple visits. my wife and children travel in this car daily. i would like some help fixing this so my family will be protected if in an accident.i received a recall notice but the dealer said its not covered. i am writing this complaint after receiving an auto airbag settlement card in the mail. i purchased the vehicle used from valley high honda in 2007. the vehicle has never been involved in an accident while i have been the owner. i was told it wasnt in one prior to my purchase. i was informed by the same dealer that the inflator wiring was damaged and came disconnected from the inflator switch and that i was at fault. ? i recently have moved and dont have all my docuents readily available, so i havent attached them yet. the airbag light had began coming on shortly after or near the time of my purchase of the car. i will send or attach my little bit of information/documents as soon as i can get settled and locate it.
Air bag light on, dealer doesn't have parts, can't drive car honda case # 05125120, promised call back from case manager that never happened. do not have alternate transportation. air bag light just stayed on one day, no specific condition applied.
Srs light came on in my 2007 honda civic lx. took it into dealership and reset the code. honda said my srs light being on means the driver and passenger airbag would not deploy if in accident. honda reset my light and said to come back if the light came on again. srs light came back on as soon as left dealer. called honda dealership and they said to come back and they would replace my airbag at no cost. once at dealership they said it would be $685.40 for cable reel and $833.43 for parts for drivers airbag. i feel this is a defective product which honda is failing to addressing leaving people who do not have $1500 to pay them to fix their defective airbag equipment having to drive a dangerous car. extremely disappointed with the runaround and inconsistent information honda dealership provided. i did not decline for them to fix my airbag and cable reel, i could not afford their quoted cost of $1,500 for them to fix the airbags in my car. i cannot understand how they are not covering this issue when there was a recall for this same defect in the accord.
Takata recall recall specifically states "honda suggests that you avoid having a passenger sit in the front passenger's seat until the recall repair has been performed." when i contacted honda they said it would be approximately 3 weeks before the parts were in and the repair could be performed. when i requested alternate transportation until the repair could be performed, since i have passengers in my car the majority of the time, i was told that honda is not covering a loaner car as part of the recall
The srs light sensor on 2007 civic lx stays on when driving.

I called it have the parts on my air order. i was not given another car to drive until my air bags are replaced and fix. i have small children anything could happen and all the service rep told me is to not have anyone riding in the passenger side of my car that i pay for every month. i do not think this is a safe way to keep your customer safely on the rode. i am sure that you would not place your kids in danger why should i have too?
Potential defective air bag , possible unlawful airbag tampering

Purchased 2007 honda civic new. had issue with passenger side airbag light on 2008. had dealer fix. light came on 2009. had dealer fix. light came back on 2010. now vehicle warranty period expired. did not worry because passenger side air only and my son drive mostly by himself. light have been on ever since. brought car back to dealer for recall of airbags 7/2016. had dealer look at side airbag light again. they tell me the i had a faulty floor harness and all my airbags will not work and cost of repair after discount to be $1600. i call american honda on 8/1 to see if they will cover cost of repair. they did not. base on my research, i feel this is very unfair. 2007 honda civic have this problem side airbag light issue code 32-10. i think my car faulty harness issue was there when i purchased the car new and it cause side airbag light to come on constantly and why the repair never lasted more than a few months. this is a safety issue same as with the seat belt and american honda should cover cost of repair. american honda has service notice concerning this problem with the honda civic only. my mileage is 85080 at this time.

Takata recall it's been 5 months since recall issued.
I was notified that my car is being recalled for airbag problems. as instructed i telephoned for an appointment at honda on july 24th, july 27th and july 29th 2016, at the number they gave me their letter. i did not hear back, so i left several more messages and emails, but still never heard back for an appointment. it has been over six months and i still have been unable to make an appointment for the recall.
Takata recall 13 august 2016 (6:45 pm) i received notification from the honda recall department by mail on friday, july 22, 2016 that the passenger airbag on my 2007 honda civic needed to be replaced and that parts would not be available until late summer or fall. the notice specified that i should not allow anyone to ride in the front passenger seat. i immediately called the customer service recall line at (888) 234-2138) and informed the support technician that my husband is a permanently disabled veteran (major usar retired) who cannot ride in the back seat because of his disability and who now cannot ride in the front seat due to the risk of the the airbag deploying. the support technician said she would escalate a request for a loaner car and that a case manager would contact me within 2-3 business days. this call never came. i called the honda recall line again on saturday, july 29, 2016; i received an apology and was again told that a second request would be put through and that a case manager would contact me in 2-3 business days. again, no call came. during this period my husband and i were forced to rent a car for four days in order to visit his 93-year old mother for her birthday. i called the honda recall line again on wednesday, august 10, 2016. i received another apology, and this time the support technician transferred me to the escalations department. the person i spoke to said that she would put a flag on the loaner request that specified the request was a "medical emergency." four weeks have passed since my first request. my husband and i need nhtsa to intervene on our behalf to get a loaner/rental vehicle from honda as soon as possible so that we can resume our normal daily activities without fear of injury. finally, if nhsta can offer us some advice on whom to contact for congressional support, please do so. thank you.

Takata recall. in july 2016, we received initial notification of the airbag recall. we called the dealer day, midlands honda, to get it repaired. midlands honda, in lexington, sc told me they would call when the part was in. in october 2016, i called the midlands honda, since we had not heard anything. they told me they couldn't even tell me if the part had been ordered. i called american honda, and they said we had to go through the dealer. we have waited over 6 months to get this potentially life threatening recall repaired, and neither the local honda dealer, nor american honda, is doing anything to get this repaired. i'm not sure if i need to get an attorney involved, or not. we need to get this airbag recall repaired, before someone is injured or killed, due to honda's lack of response, and apparent lack of interest in their customers well being. please provide some assistance. thank you. *tr
