Recently reported VISIBILITY problems on 2004 Honda Civic

The driver's side front power window in my 2004 honda civic will not immediately close when i pull up on the toggle switch to close the window. i either pull the switch many times, over and over, until the window closes, or i have to leave the window open. *tr

2004 honda civic - windshield wipers won't work at all. serviceman said it's either motor or switch and it will be over $300 because the whole dash has to be removed... *tr

Consumer's 2004 civic pulled left. accelerator would not engage when depressed and the vehicle would make a sudden jump. *ts the vehicle was taken to the dealer but the were unable to determine the cause of the problem. the consumer also experienced problems with the vehicle's stereo and gear system. the dealer repair the loose wire but the stereo's sound is affected when the vehicle hits bumps in the road. the consumer was told that the gear shift was replaced. the rubber seal on the windshield popped up. the paint on the back fender started to flake. the brake began to make noise even after the vehicle was parked. *nm

Ltr fm stephen cerini (ny) re defective window, film appears on window and obstructs vision while driving requesting a defect investigation.*mr the manufacturer told the consumer the film that appears on the windows was normaland recommended to the consumer to keep the vehicle out of direct sunlight and opeing the windows would help the problem, however the consumer stated the vehicle was kept in a garage with the windows and sunroof opened all night. *jb

At approximatly 3pm, sunday afternoon, i washed my honda civic hybrid. when the cold water hit the front windshield the windshield cracked from top to bottom. the honda dealer examined the crack the following week and did not find any stone damage. but, the factory rep indicates that since there is 33,000 miles on teh car and it is more than one year old, honda will not pay for any replacement. i feel that this is a design flaw and not he result of prior damage.

Driver quarter window breakage at freezing temperatures. glass must be replaced; contacting honda to request replacement as this appears to be a glass defect.*ak

Stress crack on windshield beginning at very bottom of window on passengers side and running the full length of window. this crack occurred 6 months after buying the car new. the exact same crack occurred again in oct., 2005. the exact same crack has occurred nov. 2006*jb

Rear defroster slow to perform and only defrost about %60 of rear window. *nm
