Car stalls out after higher speed driving, usually coming to a hard stop, requiring me to restart. once it happened while i was driving on the freeway, so it was a bit scary, a safety concern. usually while coming to a stop is when it occurs exiting freeways. i would like honda to fix, but they tell me my vin is not affected but my make model and year are, nhtsa campaign number 02v120000, and my car has the symptoms of an ignition problem. also the ignition switch is rough and sometimes the key jams. note that it could be that its past 15 years since the recall notice went out, but i never received the notice. i feel they are liable for this repair, i never got. i should not have to foot the bill and hope for a reimbursement as was suggested by their customer service rep. anything you can do to compel them to fix it, i would greatly appreciate. the most recent occurrence was on 02/25/18 exiting the freeway and coming to a stop.

I dropped my car of 7/21/03 for engine repair and body work. the body shop said it would take 10 days. 7/28/03 my car was broken into while in their shop and i was not alarmed until 21/2 weeks after the "break in" incident by the detective on the case. in between the time before i knew about the break in, i've spoken to the owner inquiring about the time frame my car would be finished, the owner never mentioned of the incident. when i did find out of the incident and confronted store owner he stated that he thought i knew. i expressed my anger and mentioned the fact that my car was broken into and if he had advised me of the situation, i would have taking that in consideration of the time frame of prolonged service and understood more of the delay. the owner said the fact that my car being broken into had no reason of the delay. i had numerous unpleasant conversations with him, from where he's called me a "!@#$%," that i don't give him enough business to "harass him" about information on my car as much as i do. i've already gave him $1,500.00. when i finally had the time and transportation to go see my car, there were some parts of my car that was taking that needed to be repaired, for example my front bumper was totally ripped and needed to be replaced- that was stolen, my passenger rear view mirror was taking, that also needed to be replaced. my strut bar was taking but the person or persons who took it had the time to put the screws back on, whoever broke in my car also took my back spoiler, gauge cluster, speedometer, headrest, both of my door panels and door speakers, my console, and some other stuff. my car is three times worse then when i dropped it off. the owner stated that he does not have to replace these items if he doesn't want to. i still pay car notes my car, it i've mentioned this to the owner how important it is for me to have work done and right asap many times but he seems to not understand or care. my car has not been worked on. *tr
